New Course

Created by Landscape Design Company, the New Course lies at at the northern end of Bedwell Park and opened in 1992.

It is somewhat flatter than the Old Course, with most of the holes arranged to play along the hillside.  On the 7,090 yard course the 4th tee of 650 yards is one of the longest in the country.

The par four 18th of 474 yards is the most difficult hole on the course - made more so by the fact that it plays INTO the prevailing South Westerly wind.

Each hole has a designated species of tree (Cherry, Acer etc.) and shrubs.  Trees and water features give an impressive visual display throughout the year.

The New Course (also called the Member Course) is available in some society packages, and to club members and their guests.
